Pine Street Shelter Rooftop Garden

This is on the roof of the homeless shelter and needs some love! We would like to see some of the local area schools use it has a service project. The goal is to provide as much food for the shelter, or perhaps give them a way to generate a small income through the garden.

Centennial ECE-8 School

Centennial ECE-8 is a neighborhood school in North West Denver. We have a very small group of PTA parents working hard to create an amazing learning environment for ALL students at our school. One of the things our garden really needs is a decent system for watering. This past summer the garden had to be watered by hand every other day by just a few parent volunteers. We would love to set up something semi-permanent such as a drip system, but really lack the funds and the expertise to do that at this time.

Columbian School

In the spring of 2012, with the help of many volunteers including students, teachers, parents and community members, we transformed an overgrown 6500 sq ft. plot at Columbian Elementary School into a garden that would become a space full of learning, creating and eating.
