Our school garden is growing! The preschool children have been our main maintenance crew and are already master planters and waterers . . . and they sure can move mulch! Kindergarten students enjoy their blooming zinnias, first graders are our soil scientists and our seed experts, second graders are learning how to make a square knot and are building trellises made from guava harvested at school - before you know it we’ll have bean plants climbing them. Third graders have been working on beautiful garden journals - when they’re not moving mountains of soil!
