Garden School Foundation

The Garden School Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to garden-based education. Our pilot program at the 24th Street Elementary School in the West Adams neighborhood of South Los Angeles was founded when the school community decided that kids had enough asphalt - and not enough nature. 7 years later, the 24th Street gardens span over 1 acre and include 55 fruit trees, 20 vegetable beds, habitat gardens, Native CA Woodlands, a reading garden, and multiple teaching spaces.

Branches Atelier

Branches Atelier is a Preschool in Culver City, California in which we are committed to creating high-quality, creative, dynamic, educational programs for children, families and educators. We pride ourselves on being a social constructivist program, inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education. Based on our fundamental belief that children learn best when their work is meaningful and given in a social context, we integrate all areas of curriculum though short-term explorations as well as long-term projects.

Adventures Learning Centers

We provide children ages 6 weeks to 12 years with a safe and nurturing learning environment. When a family enrolls in one of our centers, we form a partnership with them and make a promise to provide the same consistent, quality care that they would give their own child. We are honored that they have included us in their journey into early childhood. One of our goals is to support children’s desire to be life-long learners and where better to start then giving children the opportunity to develop healthy eating habits that last a lifetime!

STAR Academy Garden

The STAR Academy Garden will benefit our school children by providing a hands-on experience for our students to go along with their science, social studies, math and health/nutrition studies. Our garden has already begun to positively impact our school community by bringing parents, teachers and students together. Parents who have never been involved in our school before are excited that they have found a way to contribute to our school community.
