Mission

Central Park East II School Garden

The Central Park East II Garden Committee just completed building an outdoor garden, nestled atop a large concrete playground at 103st and Madison Avenue. It is currently comprised of a series of 10”-high raised beds, an inground perennial area and a digging bed for students to explore the magic and wonder of soil.   We are currently growing herbs, native perennials and a seasonal rotation of annual vegetable crops.

Farm Lot 59

We love our Little Learners and welcome you to come to the farm for a customized hands on field trip. All ages and grade levels are welcome. We ask for a $5 donation per person attending. Its best for us to keep groups between 15-30 total people per group. If you have more than that we can split the lesson in 2 parts, add a nature walk or tour of EDCO recycling across the street. After you tell us a little about your group and what you are interested in learning we will confirm your trip date and tailor the lesson for your group.

Boca Raton Christian School

Boca Raton Christian School is a Green School. We currently have several gardens on campus, both vegetable and butterfly. The gardens are used to teach agriculture and the life cycle of the butterfly. We compost on campus and recycle many items, such as paper, plastic, cans, ink cartridges, chip bags, and Capri Sun. We are always looking for new ways to excite students about their environment and to learn ways to be good stewards of our environment.
