ChicopeeFRESH

ChicopeeFRESH is the farm-to-school program of the Chicopee Public Schools. Our mission is to provide every student in the district with access to locally sourced and nutritious meals, along with experiential learning opportunities in the classroom and school garden. Through the ChicopeeFRESH program, we aim to achieve food security in our community, support the New England food economy, and empower our students to develop healthy and positive relationships with their food. 

PACT Grow-to-Learn School Gardening Program

The PACT Grow-to-Learn Schoolyard Gardening Program teaches schools and communities about food and gardening. The program creates safe, experiential and positive learning environments in low-income neighbourhoods, as well as acts as a catalyst in raising awareness of important issues related to healthy eating/nutrition, food security, environmental sustainability and hunger in our schools and local communities.

Golestan Education

At Golestan, we value nature, kindness, creativity, diligence, curiosity, and responsibility.

With the encouragement of altruism and empathy, we strive to foster a community of confident, caring, and compassionate children that value Iranian culture while being responsible and inspiring citizens of our ever-changing, multi-cultural world.

Golestan applies a heuristic approach to teaching and a holistic approach to living.  From the rich lesson plans, to the wholesome foods the children eat, every detail has been thought out and is practiced with the utmost authenticity.

Crescent School Garden

We started our school garden in 2015 after we received our first Ocean Guardian School Grant from NOAA and National Marine Sanctuaries.  

Student in PreK through high school get to participate in growing, learning, and harvesting in our garden. We are working towards getting more of our garden produce in the cafeteria.

The Edible School Yard of Berat- The Castle Garden

Mission Statement : The Castle Garden will be a living interactive classroom where students from “22 Tetori” 9 Vejçare will learn all aspects of growing, harvesting and eating fresh produce to improve their health and increase their appreciation for the agricultural traditions of the Region and Municipality of Berat.

FARM SMART: University of California, Desert Research and Extension Center

FARM SMART is the outreach component of University of California Desert Research and Extension Center in Holtville, CA.  It has been widely recognized in the community for its K-12 programs as well as the Winter Visitor adult program.  Over 135,000 people have been reached through on-center visits and programs as well as off-site school visits since the program began in 2001.  We are passionate about educating youth and their parents through our K-12 programs.  Every year thousands of Imperial Valley youth come to the Center to learn about agriculture, water and irrigation, natural resource

Baton Health

Baton Health is a health improvement delivery company providing education services, namely mentoring and coaching classes, seminars and workshops in the field of evidence-based health improvement and well-being in community.  We believe sound research, shared values and vision, and compassionate as well as joyful action connects people to one another and the shared environment.

Real Food SEED (Student Engagement Every Day)

The Real Food SEED (Student Engagement Every Day) project is designed to provide students with authentic learning opportunities connecting them to real food through sensory experiences.  Our programs in the school cafeteria, classroom, school garden, and local farming community engage students in learning about growing food, eating seasonally and mindfully, and preparing and enjoying meals together.  Our goal is to provide all students with the knowledge and skills to make conscious, educated food choices that will nourish them for a lifetime of health.
