About the Program:

Our school is a special school to all of those involved. Our motto is "we help others learn everywhere": we raised over $19,000 and a percentage goes to the children in India.

Our school is a moving school, our kids never stop moving. We just had our girls on the run -- a 5k for all grade levels and they had a great time. The boys felt out of touch so they bugged our principal to create a boys' running club. They had a 5k with the OSU engineering honor society.. What an exciting event.

We are learning about "the healthy mind" which is an IBrain group. An elementary capstone experience.

Our wellness group does a taste test  once a month on Tuesdays. Each grade level from K-5 learns about one fruit and one vegetable. Then one piece of each is passed out to each student.

We will be trying again this year to have a garden starting with small vegetables. Each will be assigned to a member to watch and maintain it in the summer.

We are in the process of having our first health fair coming up in February , and we are very excited to know the children are just as excited to learn about different nutrients, foods, and activities.
