Wells Branch Elementary

Via the garden children explore topics involving environmental science, biology, conservation, and ecology. The garden provides a practical, hands-on application of these concepts that are couched with information on health and nutrition. The garden is used by teachers to take their classes and use for learning practical applications in math, science, and social studies. If we receive this grant we need funds for two more 865 gallon rain barrels and stands in the back garden , expansion of the front garden patios to serve as both a garden for parents and the community, we would like to bring in a healthy cooking seminar for PTA during April's Earth Day, and a storage box.
