Two Rivers School

The goal of Two Rivers Sustainable Farm (TRSF) is to improve the long-term well being of our students, families, school community and the greater Snoqualmie Valley. The four measurable outcomes intended are:
1. Increase 4-year cohort graduation rate.
2. Increase teen parent 5-year cohort graduation rate.
3. Increase passage on Mathematics end of course exam.
4. Increase passage on Biology end of course exam.
5. Increased attendance.
At TRSF students will engage in experiential and meaningful activities from seed to sales that emphasize personal responsibility and stewardship, and be encouraged to see how their own choices and decisions impact the greater community, both locally and globally. Practices involving conservation and sustainability will be emphasized, and direct connections will be made between the natural world and the conveniences of our modern life. While the challenges present in our world will be brought to the awareness of the students, an attempt will be made to overlay these realities with a larger template which emphasizes the contributions and gifts that each student brings to our farm and their world.
