About the Program:

The St. Peter’s Garden was founded three years ago, after seeing amongst its students a lack of knowledge about how food is grown and the relationship between growing food and eating a healthful diet.  Our mission statement is to expose students to the benefits of growing and eating healthy food while applying the academic concepts they learn in their classroom through well integrated gardening lessons. The St. Peter's Episcopal School's organic agrden serves 215 students ages 3-11years old. We value a strong work ethic and a high quality education that not only focuses academics but that also helps children become better human beings who know about how to be healthy and about the importance of respecting our environment.
