The following description is a summary of our farm to school plan funded by a 2013 USDA Farm to School Program grant: To launch a region-wide F2S program, increase the supply of fresh, locally grown food in schools, tour nearby farms, talk to farmers about how food is produced, and conduct class discussions about healthy eating and how plants grow.
