Southern Pines Primary School

This grant will be used to create FirstSchool Gardens' first Educational Production Garden an extension of a pre-existing school garden in Southern Pines North Carolina. This project will be used as an after school garden program for a number of pre-existing childcare programs in the community including the school. Building on the success of the school's smaller garden the extension will allow for a more intensive seed to market program and increase fresh produce access amongst participants.
