Silver Lakes Middle School

The grant will allow for expansion of a fruit tree garden at another Broward County School continued growth in partnerships and valuable education to students about gardening as well as the value of locally grown fruit (produce) increasing horticulture - related skills and the valuable of fruit in maintaining a balanced healthy nutritious diet. Many hands-on gardening and education skills will be delivered to students to promote the need for locally grown food sources.
