We believe cooking is for everyone.

SideChef is an innovative step by step cooking app launching in Feb 2014. By walking users through a recipe with voice guidance, step by step photos, and automatic timers, SideChef makes it fun and easy to try new cuisines and master techniques, while also keeping a photo journal of every dish you have cooked!

SideChef is a global cooking community, you can follow your friends and favorite bloggers to see what they are cooking and ♥ their dishes. Anyone can upload their own recipes in a sharable, step by step format to guide others. Plus, earn SideChef tokens while cooking, sharing photos, and earning recognition. SideChef will be available in February for the iPad, and coming soon to iPhone and Android mobile devices.

We are thrilled to invite the teachers in the Edible Schoolyard Network to upload their recipes, allowing their students to recreate them at home in an easy to follow format. Plus, it’s a great way to support and connect with other teachers and see what they are cooking!

We hope SideChef can give people confidence in the kitchen, encourage them to try new recipes, and rediscover how fun cooking is! We fully support the students of the Edible Schoolyard Programs in their cooking adventures.
