This GCC project includes school garden and culinary clubs, school site visits, mentorship exploration, field trips to our partnering sites as well as surrounding farm-to-fork educational facilities, and reality based education, career-connections opportunities for students. Additionally, the GCC provides ongoing, dynamic professional development and learning opportunities for teachers, staff, paraprofessionals and administrators. This collaborative effort directly connects to our culinary, biotech, and construction trades CTE pathways through robust hands-on learning and relevant student projects. The GCC project helps in working toward our goal of achieving an authentic, student-centered, and mutually beneficial K-12 unified partnership.
