Rockland Country Day School Organic Garden

RCDS organic garden program was founded as an exploratory native plant garden. Over the years a small pond has been added and raised beds were built and a solar powered shed with a hot house was built, all done by students and volunteers.

We are educating k-8 students on a year round basis (inside during inclement months) focusing on incoporating STEM in to every lesson and connecting our program to other Parteners for Change affiliates and create a truly sustainable organic edible garden and garden-to-cafeteria experience.
