Ray Bjork Learning Center

The Ray Bjork Learning Center has a very unique population that is comprised of Special Education Pqreschool, HeadStart, and Gifted and Talented students. With funding from this grant, students will be able to design and implement an outdoor learning garden that is accessible to all students. This is a way to bring these diverse populations together. In addition, the goal of this project is to not only create an outdoor learning garden for the entire school to utilize, but for students to make connections with others, to role model, learn empathy, collaborate with community members and to learn job opportunities from professionals, all while learning about botany and the implications to student̃
