Pre-K 4 SA

The City of San Antonio Early Childhood Education Municipal Development Corporation has kicked off its new Pre-K 4 SA program to provide free pre-k education to eligible 4 year olds in the San Antonio area. As a part of the program, the City of San Antonio contracted with Selrico Services to provide the food service (breakfast, lunch and snacks) to the schools. The meals receive reimbursement through the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) under the USDA. In addition to providing fresh, innovative and nutritious food, Selrico Services will also be providing nutrition education in the classrooms and through teaching gardens at each of the two education sites.
