Portland Public Schools’ Fresh Start Farm to School Breakfast

The following description is a summary of our farm to school plan funded by a 2013 USDA Farm to School Program grant: To create a replicable model for the new school breakfast program meal pattern standards that includes regionally‐sourced, student‐tested foods that are conducive to the grab and go “no mess” format of Breakfast‐After‐the‐Bell programs.
