Pacific Rim Elementary School

Over the next year, we plan to renovate Pacific Rim's garden into a beautiful and productive learning environment. Our Garden Committee, made up of students, teachers and parent volunteers, envision the garden as a welcoming place for students to work and learn about gardening, as well as how food is grown. With a renovated garden space, our teachers plan to utilize the garden as a hands-on learning lab to teach science and other subjects, including social studies, math, English and health. Ultimately, we hope teachers and students alike will seek out the garden as a safe, quiet space to conduct classes and to relax during their breaks.
