Monroe Elementary School

For the past two years we have been teaching our students families and fellow teachers about sustainability its importance and the need to grow our own food. We have come to realize how small the Earth is and our need to do what we can to have a positive impact on it. The main way we are teaching sustainability is to show the students and their families how to grow their own food to compost and preserve their own seeds. We want to teach our families to take control of their own lives.
