About the Program:

The intention of the garden is to promote healthy eating habits and organic growing practices provide a safe and healthy afterschool space and act as a nexus for intergenerational exchange of agricultural knowledge. Many of our parents come from rich agrarian backgrounds yet currently live in neighborhoods devoid of green space. In this way we hope the garden will be a place of learning for all. We also hope to send home participants with free fresh healthy produce!
