Moneta Elementary School

The goal for our garden is to provide each child in second grade with the opportunity to experience growing vegetables and flowers in their own garden space. This will allow them hands on experience with the science standards of observing the effects of weather on plants and observing the life cycles of plants. In addition the students will develop a lifelong love of gardening while producing food for themselves the school cafeteria their families and the community.
