Missoula County Public School District
Missoula County Public Schools is an official service site partner with FoodCorps, a national service organization.
Missoula County Public Schools serves area students through nine elementary schools, three middle schools and four high schools (three in Missoula and one in Seeley Lake). The District also operates an Alternative High School program, Early Learning Preschool program at Jefferson Center and an adult education program at The Lifelong Learning Center.
Under the guidance of Edward Christensen, Assistant Supervisor of MCPS Food and Nutrition Services, and Stacey Rossmiller, Food and Nutrition Services Supervisor, and in partnership with Garden City Harvest, a FoodCorps service member has helped to build a production garden, source locally-produced products like beef and lentils for food and nutrition services, and teach cooking classes to elementary students in 5 district schools.
