About the Program:

Thaden opened in the fall of 2017 with grades 7 and 9 and will grow incrementally over the next few years to serve students in grades 6 through 12. We will offer small classes where students discover joy in learning and cultivate their potential under the guidance of masterful educators.

Our mission is to provide a balanced and challenging education that ignites in our students a passion for discovery and learning, prepares them to succeed in college, and inspires them to lead lives of integrity, purpose, and responsible global citizenship. At the core of our mission is a deep commitment to balance that will take many forms: a challenging and innovative curriculum that integrates the sciences and the humanities through three signature programs (Wheels, Meals, and Reels).

The Meals program is designed to engage students in learning through the lens of food.  Through this program students will work in the teaching gardens, prepare meals, and engage with the broader community.
