Martin Luther King Jr. Sr. High School Organic Garden

We are in the first year of building our gardens here at the new King.  We have newly constructed school and campus.  The out or doors portion of the campus is vast and has lots of potential for growing and learning.  We have started with 4 raised beds in the designated garden area.  We will expand this garden annually and build and arboretum and a fruitscape.

This is very exciting for us, as we have known that the former building would be demolished and the grounds completely razed.  Any attempt at starting a garden would have been futile until now.  But here we are and we are ready to grow!
