Project Outline:

Under the supervision and direction of Rivka Mason, the Malcolm X garden instructor and teacher, we propose to engage in a program to encourage children to eat nutritious vegetables that they grow themselves. In her interaction with the children at Malcolm X, Rivka has noted that children loved to eat dino kale and also sour sorrel.
