About the Program:

Leaves for Learning is a program fueled by our students wanting academics taken outside the walls of a classroom.  They used an abandoned frog pond, already on our campus,  as the spring board for what it has turned into today.  Today we have several vegetable raised beds, flowers beds, herb gardens, rain barrels, composting drums, a watershed to study, a cedar glade (indigenous to our area), Van Gogh Garden (sunflowers), and much more.  We are so eager to learn as much curriculum outside as possible.  It is a great sanctuary to read, study wildlife, and plant life.  We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful spot!!
