The Garden Project will achieve two goals:
Educational Benefits: There is a rising concern among policy makers over the relative weak science and math skills among American school children. In 2012, Langford did not meet federal and Illinois education standards in math and science. There has never been a greater need for innovation in science and math teaching than now. Goal: The MSANE Garden Project will provide experimental learning opportunities for Langford Elementary students to innovatively expand their knowledge in science and math. Overall, the project is intended to increase the studentŝ
