Kelly Middle School

The Kelly Middle School garden is a place where students, staff, parents, and community members grow, develop new skills, and engage in meaningful service together. The garden serves as a valuable teaching tool, where students may learn about a wide variety of topics, ranging from the science of photosynthesis to the art of nature writing to the mathematics involved in preparing a healthy meal. The garden allows students to interact with the natural world and learn through their senses and hands-on experiences in an outdoor space. We believe the garden will help strengthen relationships within Kelly Middle School, while also forging connections between the school and its surrounding community.
