Hunt Elementary

We have been working on a garden project for two years. We currently have 5 garden beds and 2 small green houses for approximately 350 students K-5. Our goal is to maintain the garden area to support 350 students' projects, making sure we have adequate number of gardening supplies to meet the needs of each class. Supplies include but are not limited to: Amends soil, seeds/plants and gardening utensils. We would like to have garden/farming professionals visit and share their ideas and knowlege with the students. We would also like to promote elementary gardening in the community and promote sustainable organic gardening projects.
