Hmong International Academy

This grant will allow the students families and community members of HIA to continue a rich learning experience. The community garden will give the 3rd and 5th grade students the opportunity to experience the process of creating a garden (planning preparation planting caring for and harvesting).This community garden also supports the values of the Hmong culture. The community garden project ties Minnesota State Standards inquiry based learning and community involvement together.
