Healthy Youth Program at the Linus Pauling Institute
The mission of the Healthy Youth Program is to empower youth and their families to achieve wellness and optimum health through hands-on education. The Healthy Youth Program provides educational programs highlighting the importance of healthful eating and physical activity, and the role of dietary supplements. Our educational materials are built upon the Linus Pauling Institute's latest scientific research on vitamins, minerals and other compounds found in the diet to help people live a full and productive life, free of disease. We develop and use vegetable gardens to support our educational programs, linking a healthy and active lifestyle with a sustainable environment through a theme called "Soil to Seed to Plate." Our vision is for a community of healthy, happy and active children and families.
