The Garden at AT&T Park
Located behind centerfield wall, just under the scoreboard, there’s a 4,320-square-foot edible garden that offers a bounty of fruits, vegetables, greens, and flowers. All year long, chefs harvest whatever’s ripe: blueberries, strawberries, avocados, tomatoes, peppers, squash, lettuces, lemons, kale and more are picked fresh and served in the healthy menu offerings of the two Bon Appétit bistros located inside the garden, Hearth Table and Garden Table.
In addition to being a unique gathering place and one-of-a-kind food experience for fans to enjoy while cheering on the 2014 World Series Champion Giants, the Garden serves as an outdoor classroom that encourages children to live healthier, more active lives.
San Francisco children from various nonprofit partners such as the Boys and Girls Club and YMCA are invited to visit the Garden for (almost) weekly field trips. Through hands-on activities, they learn about the importance of healthy eating, see first-hand where food comes from and how it grows, and roll up their sleeves for cooking classes guided by Bon Appétit and other Bay Area guest chefs.
