About the Program:
The Gahanna Learning Gardens at Lincoln Elementary was founded in 2013 upon the completion of restoration of a historic 1860s one-room schoolhouse on the school's property. The schoolhouse is set up inside to be period correct and students will be attending class inside on occaision. To further this living and breathing history lesson, the gardens are designed with period accurate elements. Native perennial flowers and herbs and features raised beds, vertical gardens, and hadicap accessible raised beds. This garden is one in a network of community wide gardens at Gahanna Jefferson Public Schools.
