About the Program:

We believe that everyone can be “food wise” regardless of age, background, education, or economic status. Our concept of comprehensive food education developed because we felt that standard paths focused specifically on nutrition and cooking.

Our multidisciplinary, project-based learning approach to food education allows for various perspectives of storytelling about the foods we love and hate.

Kids have the power to create their own paths surrounding their choices about food, food culture, and their relationships with food. We develop fun activities to promote and provoke questions about the food we eat and how it makes it into our bellies.

Our mobile classroom travels around the Delaware Valley region delivering custom content designed to meet our partners needs. We work with public, private, and charter schools, aftercare programs, summer camps, and kid-focused events. Our homebase is The Enterprise Center in West Philadelphia, where we are proud chorts of the 2016 Elevate Program.
