About the Program:

The World of Real Food: Combining organic gardening, traditional milk goats, and ancient wild foods, the "Eat Real!" program will give campers a dynamic hands-on and in-mouth understanding of where food comes from. With working examples of the three historical food systems - foraging, gardening, and animal husbandry, campers will explore the bustling world of food!

Eat Sustainably: Campers will experience every step of food production - from planting to harvesting, from feeding the animals to milking. Whether the campers are plucking out crispy carrots and snow peas from our quarter acre garden, learning to identify spinach-like Lamb's Quarters and nutty Chicory in our native Rocky Mountains, or making their first cheese from fresh goat's milk, kids may not even realize how much they like learning about what ends up on their plates until it's there for them to eat.
