 The nutrition program offered to the children will serve healthy, from-scratch meals using fresh, home-grown, quality food that will help to decrease obesity rates among the children.
 Healthy eating habits are extended to families at home – the low-income families request the recipes the children help to prepare and are eager to eat.
 By teaching children and families about healthy foods from the ground up, we will be educating the children and families on the value of fresh vegetables and healthy eating.
