About the Program:

The goal of the school garden is to provide a hands-on learning experience for Kindergarten through 5th grade students. Having a garden will provide students with an opportunity to put in to practice curriculum concepts and skills teachers often need textbooks to teach. For example measuring and charting growth mapping the garden layout researching animals and insects that might help or hinder the garden monitoring how weather effects plant growth and understanding where our food comes from.
