I have been performing as the Greenman (a12 foot tall walking Treeman that promotes trees and nature) for 20years.

i have a character, Johnny G Appletree, who is a nine foot tall walking talking Appletreeman. He has performed at schools in Okinawa, Inner Mongolia and Oakland CA.

I want to create a school program for him to promote edible school yards.

My goal by attending the Edible School Yard academy is to form the basis for my program.

I travel to several states so I would like to bring my Edible School Yard program to schools where I'm introducing the concept to the teachers, students and the administration.

creating a a school presentation involving the Treeman juggling, singing interactive songs and comedy stories with puppets to convey the natural growing cycle of the garden.

And I completely support the Edible School Yard Project and want to promote it far and wide.
