Chana High School

As a continuation high school serving 128 high-risk students, 102 of which are on the free/reduced lunch program, the main vision for our garden is to build character, relationships, and nutritional awareness with the students and surrounding community. In an effort to grow this vision, students wish to add 20 new raised beds to the existing 5,000 square foot garden. Each year, students in the Positive Behavior Support Program will be given a raised bed as a tool to develop positive behaviors and life skills. Your generosity will make it possible for these students to have the opportunity to raise their own vegetables to take home to their families and donate the rest to serve others in the greater community.
