We have made great progress in just two years. This year we are growing lettuce, carrots, beets, kale, chard, fava beans, tomatoes, strawberries, apples, lemons, tomatillos, herbs, cabbage, beans and avocados. We are currently working on a 2-year plan to grow the garden and find ways to deepen garden engagement, such as doing more cooking with garden produce. Funding from Whole Kids will purchase a greenhouse for the garden so that kids can see the cycle from seed to table.
The PTA is committed to sustaining and growing the garden. Polly is funded by the school̢
