Brentwood Academy

This collaborative art and ecology project is being developed in partnership with CNG, Brentwood Academy, the Cultural Kaleidoscope Program, and Castilleja School. We propose to plan an organic garden and create a green space that serves as an outdoor classroom for ecology and art education as well as a place where members of the school community can come together.

The goal of the initial phase of the garden project is to strengthen ties between the school community and local organizations, provide a platform and opportunity for further education, advance sustainability to help foster a healthier community, and foster civic pride and enthusiasm through community participation in the school garden.

Funding will be used to support the completion of the garden. To build a green space that facilitates educational outcomes for our youth will not only provide an opportunity to serve the needs of the school
