About the Program:

The main goal of Kramer’s Learning Garden is to provide a living classroom that expands student learning through hands-on experiences involving discovery, inquiry and reflection during science and math activities. The garden lends itself to Life and Earth Science experiments which will extend the curriculum beyond the classroom walls enriching learning. Additionally, through the Garden program, we strive to involve as many administrators, teachers, parents, students and community members to be a part of the learning within the garden. This collaborate community is vital to the learning experiences for the students as it provides deeper, more meaningful connections.

The Whole Foods Garden Grant will allow the Kramer Learning Garden to continue to grow not only physically on the school grounds, but also increase the involvement of the local community and neighborhood providing an ideal environment for student learning.
