Art and Gardening How does your garden grow? Teaming up with Permacultivate and the Community Garden at Albright College, students who come for field trips, summer camp, Family Days, and the Art Lab, will have the opportunity to dig in to our new program that joins art and nature. Explore the greenhouse, the trees on campus and the gardens – by taking student lead tours that culminate in botanical drawing projects, nature related crafts, and much more. As a culminating event to many of the programs, visitors will have a unique and organic "garden to picnic" experience by using fresh ingredients harvested on their tour, working in our campus kitchen and cooking with local organic chefs, will learn how to cook using what they have just picked. We will then all eat together picnic style enjoying healthy treats such as smoothies and pizza with fresh herbs!
