Appalachian Grown Farm to School Program

The following description is a summary of our farm to school plan funded by a 2013 USDA Farm to School Program grant: To work with Child Nutrition Directors and cafeteria staff, teachers, farmers, and wholesale distributors to further develop Farm to School initiatives in Western North Carolina and the Southern Appalachian region.
