About the Program: 

The 2012 Youth Culinary Tour is a cooking demonstration hosted by young culinary artists (ages 18 & under) during the farmers market at urban garden sites located in our three target market areas every Third Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The goal is for kids to teach kids how to make healthy snacks and better decisions regarding food intake that lead to healthier lifestyles and disease prevention (childhood diabetes, obesity, and behavior problems). The 2012 Youth Culinary Tour will be promoted in four Metro Atlanta communities: West End (Southwest) Atlanta, the Old Fourth Ward and Grant Park Districts in Downtown Atlanta and the East Lake Community in Decatur, GA.
