About the Program:

Create Common Good uses food to change lives and build healthy communities. Our vision is a healthy community where people have access to empowerment, employment, self-sufficiency and access to healthy food. We use access to healthy food to positively change people's lives by harnessing the community's resources to build lasting systems that provide employment and self-sufficiency. Our training programs all prepare at-risk, underserved populations to find, perform, and retain work with the ultimate goal of self-sufficiency in our community. CCG engages 1000 volunteers and interns annually, providing a platform for learning and development for youth and families in cultural diversity, healthy food production, nutrition and agriculture. We provide production fresh foods and school lunch programs, all creating great training and employment opportunities. Our all natural produce feeds the communities through a CSA program, retail and wholesale, and in partnership with our kitchen.
