Goals include: Sustainability; Education- Conservation and community awareness; Environment and food and eco systems; duty to serve- community awareness. Goal accomplishment includes an introduction to organic gardening. As a educational tool gardening will sprout new opportunities for students to cultivate healthy eating habits; learn about topics like sustainability and conservation food systems and community awareness and an appreciation for food from seed to plate.
