Our goal expands the biochar project by adding 5 beds and composting.Students will have the opportunity to do hands-on science to see how plants grow when you add biochar to the soil and its role in helping to slow global warming.The school would benefit from the creation of a sustainable outdoor laboratory.The project would lead to exposure of the benefits of biochar within the community and the benefits of adopting biochar strategies Cape-wide as a sustainable way to enhance soil fertility.
