We would like to expand our garden so that more students can benefit from the learning experiences that a garden can provide..This year the garden allowed for a few classes to use the kale and sage in a Sprouting Chefs cooking program. Futhermore sunflowers added interest to the school grounds and another class harvested the garden from the summer veggies and herbs..The grant will allow us to build one or two new garden beds. Right now we only have one raised garden bed (12x4 feet cedar).
